My First Baby Shower!!! 28 Weeks Pregnant!

SO... I had my very first baby shower :) My mom did a great job. I had people from church, Friends, and Family show up. It was so wonderful... We got a bunch of wonderful gifts for our little boy and was blessed beyond belief. This is a photo of Erin and me at the baby shower. We are due within days of each other. She is 3 days behind me in IVF. We were both beaming with happiness over our little guys. We have both been through a lot with infertility and it is always so nice catching up with her and being able to compare notes :) We are both right on track with our pregnancies and we can't wait to hold our little boys!!
Thank you Lord for your abundant love and blessings you have given us. Thank you for in-trusting these precious little souls to us.

27 Weeks Pregnant!!

I have 90 days till his due date!!
You are now in the third trimester, and last, of your pregnancy! Your baby's crown-to-rump length is about 9.6 inches and your baby's total length is approximately 15.3 inches! Your baby now weighs about 2 pounds 3 ounces and is going to grow rapidly during this last trimester! Your uterus is about 2.8 inches above your bellybutton.

If your baby were born now, it would have an 85% chance of surviving. Even though your baby is still not fully developed, she would be well within the limits of premature viability. You still have approximately 13 weeks left of your pregnancy, and during this time your baby must continue to grow and develop. If your baby was born at this time, she would have several complications that would require special attention. Because babies do not have adequate amounts of fat at this time, your baby would have to be kept inside of an incubator for warmth. Because the air sacs in your baby's lungs do not yet have surfactant, she would require an artificial respirator. Your baby's brain, liver and immune system still need to develop more also.

Make sure you take good care of your teeth. So-called `
pregnancy gingivitis` affects most pregnant women to some degree, and generally occurs in the second trimester. If you already have gingivitis, the condition is likely to worsen during pregnancy.

Your baby can develop hiccups

26 Weeks Pregnant!!!

Kidney Stones at 26 weeks Pregnant....

So I found out what was causing a lot of my pain... I went to the Hospital on Friday because of severe sharp pains in my lower back and lower abdomen (mostly left side). They tested my urine and it came back positive for Kidney Stones.
Can I just say OUCH!!!! I was in SO much pain on Thursday night!! But praise the Lord it was nothing too serious and the baby is fine. They gave me a shot in the hospital to stop my contractions. My bladder on top of the pain I was going through was irritating my uterus and causing it to have small consistent contractions. The shot they gave me, was to stop pre-term labor. It made me very jumpy and shaky... no fun at all. The Shot was not a pleasant one either, it hurt!!
So needless to say, my Friday night was not very much fun, but at least we found out what was causing all the pain and soreness...
The tests came back saying... NO MORE KIDNEY STONES!!! YAY!! They said I must have passed it the night before because all that is left is sand particles. I was SO relived to find out that I would not be passing any more stones!!
Thank you Lord for your many blessings and for the baby to be healthy and safe :)
